The E-II Arrow Flying V electric guitar is designed from the start to produce modern hard rock and metal music. Two active EMG humbuckers provide the necessary density, fullness and aggressiveness to the instrument's sound, which retains concreteness even at the highest pressure. A single volume potentiometer and lever switch are used to adjust and switch pickups.
The body of the guitar is made of alder. A three-piece maple neck with a Thin U profile is joined by an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by mother-of-pearl position blocks. Other quality components used include the original Floyd Rose double-turn tremolo, Gotoh Locking mechanisms and Schaller rollers. Tuning stability when using the tremolo lever is guaranteed by the locks on the zero fret, which, like the body of the instrument and all hardware, are in a stylish black finish.
ESP has been manufacturing electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammet, James Hettfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
