Fur Coat is a guitar fuzz pedal inspired by the 1970s and Foxx Tone Machine boxes. It's basically a vintage fuzz whose gain structure, however, allows you to achieve an ultra-furry hi-gain sound suitable for producing all varieties of dirty rock n roll. Thanks to two switches you can choose between Fuzz and Octave Fuzz modes, i.e. fuzz with an added upper octave, and use the Vol, Fuzz and EQ potentiometers to shape their sonic character.
Contrary to Orange's tradition, this is a true bypass pedal, as fuzz works best at the beginning of an effects chain. Placing it behind other pedals will give it more distortion. Power is supplied by a 9V adapter, 12V adapter or 9V battery.
