The Artisan Edition series cajons are the best of Meinl's range and among the finest cajons on the market. Each individual piece has been crafted from carefully selected materials and premium woods without compromise. The Bulería Line model boasts a body made from nine layers of 12-millimeter-thick Baltic birch and a soundboard made from Mongoy, an African variety of ovangkol. The quality of the workmanship is also underlined by the satin lacquer finish.
The cajon features two handmade five-string strings, each of course independently adjustable by the included tuning knob. Extra strong bass is provided by the bass reflex soundboard, and there are plenty of features to make playing more enjoyable - from the ergonomically shaped soundboard and rounded corners for more comfortable playing, to the specially designed rubber feet for better stability.
