Central Warehouse N/A
5th Avenue are archtop guitars that will transport you back to the 1950s when these instruments ruled the music. But they combine a classic sound with the playing comfort that only instruments built with the latest techniques can offer. And as is usual with Godin guitars, precision craftsmanship, the use of quality materials and great sound are a given.
Body and neck
The entire body of this instrument - front, sides and back - is made from Canadian wild cherry. The glued neck is made of silver-leaf maple. The fingerboard with a radius of 16 inches is made of rosewood, and at 630 millimeters in gauge you will find 21 frets.
Pickups and electronics
The guitar is fitted with two pickups, namely Godin humbuckers. The sound can then be controlled via the volume and tone potentiometers, the pickups are switched via a standard 3-position switch.
Hardware
The hardware used is chrome plated. On the headstock you will find high quality tuning mechanisms, on the other side the strings lead through the height adjustable tailpiece to the stringboard. The 43.7 millimetre wide zero fret is made of Graphtech's TusQ material, which simulates bone.
The Godin 5th Avenue offers unprecedented possibilities for a modern instrument with the spirit of history.
