SAMSON Auro X12D

The new Auro series offers powerful active and passive speakers with multifunctional applications at a great price. Thanks to their light weight, the speakers are easy to carry and simple to install.

Samson Auro X12D is a two-way active loudspeaker suitable for sound reinforcement of chamber concerts, discos, karaoke parties or various conferences and lectures. You can also use it in outdoor environments, the polypropylene surface is resistant to rain or scratches caused by careless handling during transport.

Inside the speaker is a 12" woofer with extended frequency range and up to 1000 watts of power, complete with a compression driver housed in a one-inch horn with a 60° x 90° beam angle and a Class D amplifier. The speaker's Bi-Amping circuitry ensures a high quality output signal without any distortion. In addition, the enhanced DSP system has been modified with an equalizer to eliminate reflections from room corners, off-centre mids, recessive bass or distracting high frequencies. Special temperature sensors continuously monitor the power supply and the speaker amplifier against overheating.

The rear offers two combo XLR/Jack inputs with their own Volume control and one XLR output with a Mix/Thru switch for additional speaker interconnection. You'll also find a Master Volume control, a Mic/Line switch for the first channel, or three-stage HPF and EQ switches to get the best output signal. There are ergonomic hand grips on the side for comfortable carrying. The Auro X12D can be placed on a stand or you can use the beveled shape for a listening monitor at thirty and sixty degree angles.
