Extended range and expression
The Octave Shift buttons allow you to extend the microKEY's range by four octaves in both up and down directions. Key Transpose allows you to play any key. Both of these functions, used simultaneously, thus offer access to the entire MIDI note range. To add an unusual expression to your playing, the microKEY is also equipped with both a Pitch Bend and Modulation wheel.
Versatile USB
In fact, the new microKEY can also be used as a USB hub. Two USB ports (type A) allow you to expand your control center by connecting a Korg nanoPAD or nanoKONTROL - or any other USB device!
Free editing software
Download the free "KORG KONTROL Editor" and edit the microKEY for your production or live setup. Using the SW editor, you can adjust the keyboard response to one of the special dynamics curves or to a fixed value. In addition, the range of the modulation wheel can be adjusted by setting it to the minimum or maximum of the Control change values.
