In a body that fits perfectly right in front of your laptop, the nanoKONTROL2 offers eight channels with the controllers you need to control your music software. The nanoKONTROL2 also features a special section for panning control. Carefully chosen buttons work perfectly with the software, making operation easy and intuitive. A range of software titles are supported - including major DAW programs - greatly reducing the need for complicated setup and wiring.
Complete control of your DAW or SW synthesizer.
Knob, fader and three switches are dedicated to each of the eight channels, i.e. pan, volume and solo/mute/record parameters. This arrangement means a real relief when automating recording on multiple channels. There's also a Marker button that simplifies the positioning of markers at important points in a song, for more efficient recording and song production. If you are using a SW synthesizer, you can assign parameters to the desired controllers, designed for easy control. For example, use the faders to control the ADSR envelope generator, the knobs to control the filter threshold frequency and resonance, etc.
Korg Kontrol Editor software.
The NanoKONTROL2 works with the "Korg Kontrol Editor" software - which you can download for free from the Korg website. After downloading it to your computer, use it to make detailed parameter settings. For example, you can specify minimum and maximum values for each Control change parameter value.
USB power saving setup.
Just plug one USB cable from your computer into the nanoKONTROL2 for a fast, portable music production system. Both power and USB-MIDI data pass through one cable, so you work in a clean and simple environment.
