Yamaha's THR compact guitar modeling combos are among the most popular home guitars for their great sound and flexibility. They bring the sound and feel of big tube amps/combos into your living room, even at normal room volume.

The second generation of the THR-II increases the power to 20W/30W and expands the features of the first series with Bluetooth connectivity and associated control/parameter editing via the THR Remote app (iOS/Android). The THR10IIW and THR30IIW also offer a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery with five hours of power per charge and a built-in wireless receiver (Line6 Relay G10T transmitter must be purchased separately).

Thanks to the collaboration of the company's guitar and audio/hi-fi developers, the instruments are capable of capturing even subtle sonic nuances (Virtual Circuity Modeling technology), going far beyond conventional digital simulations. The special design of the two 3.5" wideband speakers allows the audio tracks (played via Aux In or wirelessly via Bluetooth) to be reproduced in stereo hi-fi sound while working with the guitar signal so that both sounds sound together in perfect harmony.

The THR30IIW offers a total of 15 guitar simulations in three banks (Modern, Boutique, Classic) covering everything from the clean tones of jazz/funk to the crunch of country/blues, the gain of classic rock/hard rock to the hi-gain of metal. The Bass, Aco and Flat simulations (again in Modern, Boutique and Classic variants) are optimized for bass, electro-acoustic guitar and line-out instruments/devices. The two effect section controls offer the necessary sonic spice in the form of integrated modulation effects (chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo) and four variations on the delay and reverb themes, which can be expanded with the THR Remote app to include a handy compressor and noise gate.

Thanks to the USB interface, you can record directly to your PC/laptop and edit tracks in Cubase AI, which is also included with Cubasis LE. The combo also offers five user memories for storing presets, a built-in chromatic tuner, tap tempo function (controlling the delay effect), a 6.3 mm TRS line jack or a handy headphone output.

A 15V adapter, manual and a leaflet with information on downloading Cubase AI software are included.
