Yamaha unveils its new MONTAGE M synthesizer, combining incredible sound, new dimensions of control for dynamic expression and seamless integration between stage and studio. Offering three variants - the 61-key MONTAGE M6 for synth specialists, the 76-key MONTAGE M7 for keyboard players and the 88-key MONTAGE M8x with polyphonic aftertouch for pianists - this new flagship product highlights the brand's latest technologies for enhanced expressive capabilities.

At the center of the Yamaha MONTAGE M is the AN-X engine, which offers authentic analog sound and behavior. The AN-X reproduces the warm sound and specific feel of analogue synthesizers. Three oscillators with five waveforms and a noise generator can be adjusted with two 10 filter types, ring modulation, wave shaper and more. For old synthesizer sounds, voltage drift and aging functions allow further manipulation.

In addition to the all-new AN-X engine, the Yamaha MONTAGE M also features an improved AWM2 engine and FM-X engine, resulting in a total polyphony of up to 400 notes. The MONTAGE M was specifically designed for high realism and creative sound, and the combination of these three powerful engines achieves exactly that. For optimal integration into your workflow, the new models offer USB MIDI and audio interfaces, an expanded plug-in softsynth (ESP, which will be available in 2024), and faster and easier navigation.

The new Yamaha MONTAGE M product line offers innovative control dimensions for unique music creation, including new performance controls and dedicated keyboard and scene controls. The MONTAGE M8x incorporates these capabilities and adds polyphonic aftertouch, offering superior expressive capabilities. Other outstanding features include 9.97 GB of preset waveROM, 16 libraries (640 performances per library), 3.8 GB of user flash memory, VCM Rotary Speaker and much more.
