Yamaha's L Series offers high quality Jumbo acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars with traditional design and a warm, balanced sound combined with modern features. Choose from three sizes - standard (Original Jumbo - LL), medium (Medium Jumbo - LJ) and small (Small/Concert - LS).
The front of the guitars is made of solid Engelmann spruce wood, which has undergone A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology at the molecular level before assembly. Through precise control of temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, the wood achieves acoustic qualities comparable to an instrument that has been actively played for many years. You get your hands on a guitar with "won" wood.
The special unselected ribbing on the guitars' soundboards preserves the characteristic bright tone of the L-series guitars while enhancing the bass frequencies. Contributing to a comfortable playing experience are the adjusted string height and spacing, a rounded fingerboard with binding and a pleasing neck profile that is glued together from five pieces of mahogany and rosewood.
The guitars are sounded by an SRT Zero Impact passive piezo pickup that faithfully reproduces the acoustic sound of the instrument.
