Renowned Yamaha introduces a new high-end class of electronic percussion instruments that takes its years of experience in acoustic percussion production and combines it with the latest digital technologies. This series is packed with professional features and cutting-edge sounds that are sure to please even the most demanding players.

The drum pads on this kit are made from birch wood, giving not only a stylish look but also an authentic feel to the playing experience. In addition, they are equipped with new, unique TCS (Textured Cellular Silicone) membranes that add to the realistic feel of the game. The pads also feature the same hoops and hardware found on traditional Yamaha acoustic drums. This set also features a new 12" diameter bass pad with mesh membrane, or a new three-zone ride pad with up to 17" diameter.

The kit is equipped with the DTX-PROX module, which provides a whole new level of sound quality. You'll find over 400 sounds, recorded in the best European studios, which you can edit at will with a wide range of studio effects. Plus, you have the option to upload up to 1000 of your own samples to the module. In addition, the module is equipped with up to ten outputs, so you can conveniently record or perform in concert.

New to the module is, for example, the "Kit Modifier Knobs," which allows you to adjust ambient sound characteristics, compression, digital reverb, and many other effects. In addition, each channel also has its own equalization and attack or decay settings, so you can really adjust the final sound down to the finest detail.

Of course, there's no shortage of flexible connectivity either, with USB Midi and 5 pin Midi, USB output for mobile devices and computer, left and right Master outputs, four individual stereo outputs, two headphone outputs or two aux inputs.

This kit includes a 12" diameter two-zone snare pad, three tom pads (2x 10" and 1x 12"), a 13" cymbal pad, a 15" diameter two-zone cymbal pad, a 17" diameter three-zone cymbal pad, a hi-hat controller and a 12" bass drum pad. Bass drum pedal not included.
