INTUITIVE CONTROL WITH YAMAHA'S SMART PIANIST APP
The Yamaha Smart Pianist app gives you full detailed control of the instrument from your smart device. This intuitive app makes it easy to select the sound you want from a wide range of options, and even lets you switch between different virtual environments, taking into account their reverberation acoustics (such as a concert hall or cathedral). The app is available in the App Store and Google Play.

THE STREAM LIGHTS FEATURE MARKS THE KEYS TO PRESS NEXT AND MAKES MUSIC EVEN MORE FUN
Even if you can't read music, the Stream Lights feature - which works with the interactive notation from the Smart Pianist app - uses a series of lights above the keyboard to guide you key by key as you play them, making practicing your instrument even more fun. You can also activate this feature for the left or right hand only, or slow down the tempo in difficult passages to help you practice them better. There's even a Guide function that pauses playback of a song or track until you play the correct key.

THE AUDIO TO SCORE FUNCTION LETS YOU PLAY THE TUNES YOU WANT INSTANTLY
If you want to play a song but don't know where to start or what to do, just use the Audio to Score function found in Yamaha's Smart Pianist app. This app can analyze MP3 files and other audio data to extract a chord sequence, which it converts to sheet music using over 50 variations of accompaniments to match your playing skill level. All you have to do is follow the Stream Lights (a series of "falling" LEDs above the keyboard).
