The various models of the Clavinova CLP 800 series involve no compromise in terms of sound engine. On the contrary, all instruments share a combination of VRM/Grand Expression Modeling and CFX/Bösendorfer binaural sampling technologies.

One of the best reasons to choose one of the CLP-800 series instruments is precisely the access to multiple different sounds. Two world-famous concert grand pianos form the basis of the sound bank. The sheet music is available to download and view in the Smart Pianist app. This free Bluetooth MIDI-enabled smart app can also create song data from PDF scores and then play them back, as well as analyze song data stored on a smart device and display their chord progressions or piano accompaniment scores. You can also play audio tracks via Bluetooh and take advantage of the potential of the internal sound system. The CLP-800 series is also compatible with the optional FC35 three-pedal unit, which acts as an auxiliary pedal for young children to practice with. With the USB port, you can record practice or concert recordings to storage media or record and play back audio from your computer and DAW with ASIO driver support.

How do the different models in the range differ, so which one to choose?
If you are looking for the right Yamaha Clavinova model, then you should know that apart from design and colour, the main differences are in the keyboard design, the type and power of the sound system and the pedal design.
