Waves SuperRack Performer is an advanced live mixing application that now allows the use of any third-party VST3 plugins along with Waves plugins. This system is designed to optimize performance during live performances, whether it be concerts or broadcasts, on Mac or PC. The SuperRack Performer acts as an ASIO/Core Audio host and allows audio streaming through the user interface, affecting latency, which can be approximately 5.3ms at a 48kHz sample rate.
For live mixing, SuperRack offers various setup and control options, including the ability to split plugin windows for better clarity and control. SuperRack allows users to quickly switch and manage settings using snapshots, making it easy to make quick changes during live performances.
It supports a wide range of sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 96 kHz and is compatible with a variety of operating systems including macOS Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura. Users need modern hardware to use this system effectively, including sufficient RAM and disk space.
