The Warwick Streamer LX bass was added to the Warwick range in 1996 and has since been used by players in rock, metal, funk and many other genres for its versatility. The RockBass series is a more affordable version made in Asia, but it doesn't skimp on the quality of the materials used or the level of craftsmanship. Their quality is carefully checked by professionals in Warwick's German workshops before shipping.
This model is based on a body made of unconventional Carolene wood, to which is bolted a maple neck with Ekanga stripes, a fingerboard made of exotic wenge wood and 24 Jumbo frets. The active electronics with a two-band EQ, volume control and separate tone shield work well with a pair of passive MEC P/J pickups and offer plenty of sonic flexibility. The hardware is also top-notch, with the bass featuring a patented Just-A-Nut III zero fret, a two-piece cob and Warwick tuning machines.
The bass comes in a soft Rockbag case and is strung with Warwick Red Label .045 - .105 strings.
