The Warwick Corvette bass was first introduced in 1992 and has since been used by players in rock, metal, funk and many other genres for its versatility. The RockBass series is a more affordable version made in Asia, but it doesn't skimp on the quality of the materials used or the level of craftsmanship. Their quality is carefully checked by professionals in Warwick's German workshops before shipping.
This multiscale model (864-902 mm gauge) is based on a red alder body to which is bolted a maple neck with strips of ekanga wood, a fingerboard made of exotic wenge wood and 24 Extra Jumbo frets. Active electronics with a two-band EQ, volume control and separate tone control get along well with a pair of passive MEC pickups and offer plenty of sonic flexibility. In addition, you can also adjust the sound with three mini switches that control the splitting of the pickups to single coil and their series/parallel connection. The hardware is also top-notch, with the bass featuring a graphite fretboard, a single-piece fingerboard for each string, strap locks and Warwick tuning machines.
The bass comes in a soft Rockbag case and strings are Warwick Red Label .045 - .135.
