Vox V846 Vintage Wah

New Wah Wah Pedal / HN277247
Vox introduced the wah-wah pedal in 1967 as a midrange boost feature of Vox instruments, inspired by a design intended to mimic the distinctive vocal sound of the trumpet with choke, popularized by trumpeter Clyde McCoy. Nothing against trumpets and trumpet players, but the "quack" found its target audience a little differently, so the wah pedal was quickly optimized for the needs of rock guitarists and re-released as the V846.

The Vox V846 Vintage Wah pedal effect is an exact replica of this "second version" of the wah pedal - both in terms of sound and individual components (coils, transistors, potentiometers, resistors, capacitors). With extended frequency response and emphasis in the high frequencies, it will get along great with fuzz pedals and other dirt boxes.

Use a 9V battery (not included) to power the wah effect.
