The Vintage VS63 electric guitar is based on the double-cut design of the SG models. The body of the instrument is made of mahogany. The neck is made of a single piece of mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of Lignum Rosa (laminated wood), a composite material similar in properties and appearance to rosewood, with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets.
Three Wilkinson humbuckers give the guitar the necessary sonic drive, while also providing a fairly wide sonic arsenal. The character of the sound can be shaped with two volume knobs, two tone controls and a three-position pickup switch. The guitar will be sonically at home in the blues or rock waters, but thanks to the wide range of settings it can of course be used in other musical styles as well.
Tuning stability is guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings through the Graphtech NuBone zero fret in the solid Wilkinson Tune-O-Matic headstock and Wilkinson WJ3030 Deluxe tuning machines.
At a very attractive price, Vintage's electric guitars offer excellent workmanship and performance that you would find in much more expensive models. These instruments play really well and won't disappoint you with their looks either. They are a great choice for beginner players, but thanks to their sound and playing comfort, advanced guitarists will appreciate them as well.
