To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Valeton introduces an updated version of its flagship GP-200. The GP-200X comes in a stylish new coat, dominated by navy blue and vibrant red. It also brings improved firmware with new quality algorithms, a more accurate tuner, a more responsive expression pedal and 28 new presets created in collaboration with several artists. Each GP-200X model comes in a premium gift box with a handmade guitar pick and leather pick holder.
The GP-200X is a guitar multieffect with integrated expression pedal suitable for musicians of all levels of proficiency. Thanks to advanced modeling technologies (it operates at 24-bit 44.1kHz quality), it boasts a nice organic sound that won't offend even players with high demands.
The multi-effect offers over 240 effects - over 100 legendary dynamic/distortion/frequency/modulation/delay/reverb effects pedals and 140 simulations of world-famous guitar, bass, acoustic and speaker instruments. It also provides you with 256 presets (100 factory and 156 custom), 100 different auto-drummer accompaniments and the ability to record up to 20 custom IRs. There's also an integrated chromatic tuner, a looper with 180 seconds of recording time, and an editable effects chain that lets you use up to 11 effects simultaneously and move them around in the chain at will. A user-friendly interface with a colour LCD display and eight footswitches with assignable functions are used for easy control.
Compared to the GP-100, this multieffect boasts a wider range of signal routing options. On the rear panel, you'll find a mono input and a mono/stereo jack output, two balanced XLR outputs, an effects loop, MIDI I/O, a Win/Mac/iOS/Android-compatible USB Type-C interface for audio streaming or linking to a Win/Mac editor, an input for an external expression pedal/switcher, and a headphone output traditionally accompanied by an Aux in input for external audio sources. All electronics are hidden in a robust metal chassis. A 9V adapter is used to power the multieffect.
