Apollo Twin X Duo is a desktop/mobile Thunderbolt 3 audio interface with integrated DSP processor and effects plug-ins. The basic Analog Classic and Heritage Edition package can be expanded with over 100 additional plug-ins from UA and other manufacturers. 8 additional inputs can be added using the ADAT interface. Compatible with Apple computers with Thunderbolt 1/2/3 and Windows 10 with Thunderbolt 3.

Apollo Twin has the largest dynamic range and lowest noise of any desktop audio interface at launch. It uses high-end converters and preamps, identical to the more expensive Apollo x rackmount models. The digitally-controlled monitor output provides full resolution and smooth volume changes, ensuring perfect volume balance between the two channels at all listening levels.

LUNA Recording System
The Luna Recording System features "Accelerated Realtime" monitoring, internal summing based on accurate emulation of the legendary NEVE consoles, tape multitrack tape emulation, and new virtual instruments from the LUNA Instruments collection from brands such as Universal Audio, Moog Music, Spitfire Audio and more. LUNA transforms the Apollo audio interface into the most inspiring and fully integrated recording system on the market. The download is free for owners of Apollo and Arrow audio interfaces equipped with a Thunderbolt connector (Mac only). Luna's recording system is in direct competition with DAW standards (such as ProTools, Cubase, LogicPro and others) and offers the same advanced editing features.

Apollo Twin lets you record and mix with the full range of legendary emulation plug-ins familiar from the UAD-2 platform. Use the top emulations from Ampex, Lexicon, Neve, Moog, Roland, SSL, Studer and more for your work. Apollo Twin gives you an authentic and enjoyable analog sound thanks to the integrated UAD-2 technology.

Record and effect through high-end microphone preamps with Unison™ technology
Unison technology allows microphone preamps to take on the sonic character of legendary analog solid-state and tube preamps through emulation processes, including parameters and characteristics such as impedance, gain, "sweet spots" and other hallmarks of the original circuits. Unison allows you to record through a great-sounding emulation of the legendary 610-B preamp in the basic package, as well as other plug-ins from the UA Online store.

High-speed Thunderbolt 3 connectivity
Thunderbolt offers Thunderbolt 1/2/3 compatible high-speed connections and high-end, low-latency drivers for all Thunderbolt-enabled PC/MACs. Apollo Twin X is compatible with all commonly used DAW applications on OSX - Pro Tools, Logic, Garage Band, Studio One, Cubase, Nuendo, Ableton Live and more.
