Universal Audio Anti 1992 High Gain

The Universal Audio Anti 1992 High Gain offers the massive aggressive guitar sounds of bands like Slipknot, In Flames, Machine Head and countless Scandinavian bands in the body of a pedal effect. It's a stereo amp and speaker emulation pedal with the authentic sounds of a 120 watt high gain amp from the early 90's plus great microphone emulations of voiced speakers. So the absence of an amp and speaker on stage no longer has to be a problem for you.

The amp section of the pedal offers three channels (Clean, Crunch, Lead) in the basic setup plus output volume controls, a gain preamp and a four-band EQ (Presence, Low, Mid, High). Toggle the middle switch to save the settings as a preset (Store), or activate the secondary functions of the controls (Alt). In this mod, you can work with the built-in noise gate, i.e. adjust the threshold, and filter out typical dirt pedal noise, adjust the bass response (Reso), and adjust the gain, EQ and output of the built-in overdrive (choice of TS-style OD or preamp boost). So with the Anti 1992 High Gain pedal, you won't need any other dirt box, green or otherwise, to "feed" or firm up your sound.

The switch on the left side can be switched between mic/cab emulations to perfectly shape the resulting sound. Specifically, 4x12 Marshall cab with V30's, 4x12 Oversized cab with V30's, 4x12 Marshall cab with Celestion 75's, 2x12 D65, 4x12 Celestion 80, 4x12 Brown speaker emulation. The latter is accessible from the UAFX mobile app via Bluetooth. In the UAFX app you can access presets created by professional guitarists and deeper editing of individual parameters (boost, noise gate or bass settings). You can shape the shape of your guitar sound in even greater detail and save or recall the settings as a preset directly in the app.

Anti 1992 High Gain works in both mono and stereo mode. With guitars with an effects loop, you can use the 4-cable mode to switch between your guitar amp's preamp sound and Anti 1992 High Gain. Upload a firmware update via USB. The pedal effect is wired as a buffered bypass. Use a 9V DC center negative adapter (400mA minimum) for power. Adapter is not included.
