Two Notes Captor X 8 Ohm

The Torpedo Captor X is a reactive loadbox and attenuator for tubes, virtual cabinet, IR loader and stereo expander in a compact, larger DI box format that you'll appreciate in the studio, live performance and home. It is capable of working with amplifiers up to 100 watts (Input 100W RMS MAX). In standard wiring, where you place the Torpedo Captor X between the amplifier and the speaker box, it offers selectable signal attenuation (-20 dB Club, -38 dB Home) and switchable input signal strength (High/Low). Simply crank up your unit to the desired point even in the home environment without driving the neighbours to despair, or send the signal to your headphones and adjust the output volume.

With Torpedo Captor X, however, you can leave your speakers in the rehearsal room. Thanks to the Torpedo Remote app, you'll have access to 32 virtual studio-quality speakers, eight microphones per speaker (cabinets are virtually scanned by two microphones), eight acoustic room simulations, built-in effects (twin tracker, stereo reverb, aural enhancer, voicing, noise gate), 128 presets, and 512 memories for your custom IR from your computer, laptop, or phone (iOS, Android). Connect your device via USB (USB cable included) or wirelessly via Bluetooth. You can then load your presets directly into the Torpedo Captor X as one of six presets accessible directly from the device's control panel. Thanks to MIDI compatibility, it is possible to change the selected parameters in real time, for example using an expression pedal (3.5mm jack to MIDI adapter included).

Two XLR outputs offer three signal routing options (Stereo, Dual Mono, Dry/Wet). So with Torpedo Captor X you'll always have a good solution at hand - you can combine the sounds of the built-in simulations with the sound of a real speaker, send sounds with a different signal to the mix and stage monitors, or in the dry/wet setting work with the clean sound of the wet signal (bypassing the built-in simulations) in the Wall of Sound plug-in with a multitude of speaker simulations, microphone types and end amps (with Captor X you get access to Wall of Sound).

Torpedo Captor X works with cabs with 8 ohm loads. The included 12V DC adapter is used to power the device.
