The Turbosound MILAN M15B isa 15" subwoofer with 2200W of power and Klark Teknik technology for portable PA and installation applications.
The MILAN M15 features two independent input channels with combined XLR/Jack 6.3 mm TRS inputs for direct connection of line signals. The band-passes are extremely efficient and produce maximum bass output in a specific frequency range by increasing the acoustic load on the speaker. The low-distortion bandpass used in the M15B and the special internal subwoofer design boost bass frequencies and provide an effective acoustic transition for use with the MILAN series full-range speakers. The M15B provides low-frequency bass extension for one or two top-of-the-line MILAN series cabinets.
The lightweight switching power supply, coupled with Klark Teknik's state-of-the-art Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module, provides dynamic equalization and sophisticated limiter functions to ensure optimal performance and long-term reliability.
The control panel offers a subwoofer level control, a polarity switch for proper phase adjustment in conjunction with full-range speakers, and a switchable Boost filter (set at 100 Hz) to ensure proper integration with other sound system elements. An additional filter allows the selection of Speech (for improved voice intelligibility) or Music for the wider frequency range needed for high fidelity reproduction of musical content. An XLR Thru connector sends the mix of both input channels to other active speakers for quick and easy system expansion.
The M15B's cabinet is made of solid birch plywood with a durable semi-matte black lacquer finish and internal ribbing to eliminate resonances and minimize vibrations. Rubberized steel casters are provided for easy transport. There is a 36mm pole hole for connecting satellite speakers.
