The Turbosound MILAN M15 is an 1100 W active two-way loudspeaker with an internal Klark Teknik DSP unit optimized for portable PA and installation applications.

The MILAN M15 features two independent input channels with combined XLR/Jack 6.3 mm TRS inputs for direct connection of microphone or line level signals. Simply select the input signal type using the Mic/Line switch. The amplifier is equipped with a two-band master equalizer (bass, treble), intelligent limiter and a Mix Out function for possible connection of additional active speakers and easy system expansion.

Featuring revolutionary Class-D amplifier technology, this compact speaker offers tremendous power in an easy-to-use, ultra-portable and lightweight package. Class D amplification is essential, offering maximum energy efficiency and eliminating the need for heavy power supplies and massive heat sinks. 1100 watts of pure power is split using a bi-amp method to independently excite the 15" woofer and 1" wide dispersion high frequency driver.

TURBOSOUND is proud to incorporate the custom developed KLARK TEKNIK DSP processor into its products. From the moment your signal enters the MILAN M15, the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) unit takes control, ensuring the highest possible signal integrity. Much more than just selective EQ enhancement, the 24-bit DSP in the M15 analyzes the incoming signal and intelligently applies specific filters that truly improve sound quality. It's very similar to an audio engineer monitoring the input and output signals of each M15, selecting the perfect EQ, and constantly making subtle adjustments to the crossover, compressor/limiter and other elements - all of which contribute to a vastly improved sound.

The integrated mixer features an input gain adjustment control for each input, and a two-band master EQ with a switchable Low Cut filter (set at 100 Hz), allowing the M15 to provide excellent clarity and projection when used as a listening monitor - or to ensure proper integration with subwoofers. An additional filter allows the user to select the Speech setting (for improved voice intelligibility) or Music for the wider frequency range needed for high fidelity reproduction of musical content. A handy Mix Out XLR connector sends a mix of both input channels (after equalizer) to other active speakers for quick and easy system expansion.

The M15's flat-panel cabinet is made of high-density polypropylene and is heavily ribbed on the outside and inside to eliminate resonances and to give the cabinet an attractive and durable finish. The symmetrical side bevel allows the speaker to be conveniently used as a floor monitor. There is a recessed handle on the top for easy lifting and transport, while a column-mount socket allows the speaker to be mounted on straight columns or speaker stands, either vertically or lifted higher and tilted down to optimize audience coverage. A total of six M10 mounting points are provided on the top and bottom of the cabinet for secure vertical or horizontal hanging in permanent installations using M10 shoulder screws. Mains power is connected via a non-locking IEC with integrated fuse holder. The illuminated front label operates in one of three modes: permanently on, permanently off or to indicate restriction.
