The Timber Tones Grip set offers a mix of four exotic wood picks that produce different colour tones. The tough and durable Malaysian Ebony brightens the sound, the Indian Chestnut is ebony-like but has a slightly warmer sound, and the Burma Padouk teeters right on the line - giving the electric guitar a rounded tone, while the acoustic is more ringing. Most interesting, however, is the Pale Moon ebony, whose final sound depends on the colour of the wood in the fingerboard area - golden wood is softer and has a warmer tone, while brown annealed wood is harder and therefore has a more piercing sound.
