Teenage Engineering's OD-11 (ortho directional) is a new version of Stig Carlsson's loudspeaker, which enjoyed a big boom in the 1970s.

Everything has been carefully redesigned according to the original drawings and the result is an almost perfect copy of the original speaker, but enhanced with modern technology - a built-in computer and wi-fi for wireless signal transmission. So you can stream audio from your computer or mobile device, and the Spotify app is also supported, so you can listen even after you turn off your phone.

In addition, the Orthoplay app (iOS, Android) allows you to control the speaker remotely. When using multiple OD-11s, the app will help you place them in zones. You can also use it to switch individual inputs or change the equalization.

The charm of the original and current OD-11 design was that the speaker was engineered so that its sound waves wouldn't get too choppy when used in a regular household and the listening experience wouldn't get distorted. As a result, you can place the OD-11 on a shelf, on a wall or on the floor and the sound will always be perfect.

The minimalist design ensures that the OD-11 fits perfectly into any interior.
