TC Electronic Plethora X5
Guitar Multi-Effect / HN218422
The PLETHORA X5 is a slightly different guitar multieffect from Danish brand TC Electronic, taking full advantage of digital technology and offering a wealth of effects. In the TonePrint App (free to download) you simply choose from a wide database of guitar effects and then upload them via Bluetooth or USB cable to the multieffect. This way you can endlessly change the effects and create new and new pedalboards with a variety of sound combinations. The individual parameters can then be edited using the controls on the box or via the TonePrint app, which offers extensive editing options - you can edit hundreds of parameters to transform your pedalboard's sound beyond recognition, or dive into creating entirely new sounds and create your own TonePrint effects.
The multi-effect is equipped with five footswitches, which can be used like expression pedals thanks to the innovative MASH function and control the dynamic parameters of individual effects. It offers the possibility of storing up to 127 presets, each of which represents a virtual pedalboard that can be equipped with up to five different TonePrint pedals. You can then edit the signal chain to create the signal path you need. The speaker simulation function provides you with virtual speakers so you can connect the box directly to a soundcard or PA system. There's also an integrated UniTune tuner and looper with recording times of up to 80 seconds.
On the rear panel, in addition to the standard optional stereo/mono connections, you'll also find MIDI for controlling the multieffects with an external device, a USB interface for firmware updates, an effects loop for integrating your favorite boxes, and an input for an external expression pedal. PLETHORA X5 is wired as a true bypass. A 9V adapter is included for power supply.
