Hall of Fame 2x4 Reverb is one of the imaginary flagships in the field of pedal effects from Danish brand TC Electronic. It offers 10 high quality reverb effects, six preset/effects slots from the TonePrint App library (free to download), footswitches with revolutionary MASH function, mono/stereo connection, MIDI compatibility, expression pedal input and other great features.
Use the pedal's four footswitches to activate/bypass the pedal, switch between two banks of presets, i.e. a total of eight presets available (you can also select via the Bank/Store switch), and control the MASH function, where the touch-sensitive footswitches work similarly to an expression pedal, i.e. changing the character of the sound in real time. You can also control individual effect parameters using a MIDI controller or an external expression pedal. The settings of the standard effect controls determine the duration, onset speed, sound color and volume of the reverb effect.
TonePrint technology allows you to create your own reverb effects in the TonePrint App (free to download), and most importantly, load one of the presets/effects from the TonePrint library (including presets created by famous guitarists) into the effect via the USB input or by connecting your smartphone to the instrument's pickup in one of the six slots.
Of course, the TC Electronic effects feature a durable metal chassis and are therefore highly resistant to damage from careless handling. In addition to the connectors, the rear panel offers true/buffered bypass switches, a kill-dry on/off switch and a USB connector for recording firmware udpats. The included 9V adapter is used to power the effect.
