TC Electronic Ditto X4 Looper

The original Ditto Looper from TC Electronic became an absolute hit among guitarists and became one of the best-selling guitar loopers in the world.
This box is now followed by the Ditto X4 Looper, which houses the richest equipment of all Ditto loopers. Unlike its predecessors, it allows you to record two separate loops that can be played back in two modes - in Sync mode you'll play back both loops, while Serial mode lets you switch between them. The X4 also houses a set of seven looping effects and a Decay function, which lets you control whether and how fast your recorded loop will decay until it dies down completely.

As mentioned, the pedal features seven effects: Reverse is already a classic effect for playing a loop backwards. Half slows it down by half and also tunes it down by an octave. Conversely, the Double effect doubles the speed and raises the tone of the loop by an octave. Once plays the loop once and then deletes it. Tape Stop brings an alternative ending to the loop with a gradual slowdown effect, and like, for example, playing a record, it gradually lowers the tone. Fade ends the loop by gradually fading out. A very interesting and practical Hold effect works like a "mini loop" - by holding down the pedal, you can extend a short sample from the phrase until you release your foot from the pedal.

The rear panel features two inputs (Mono/Stereo) and outputs (Mono/Stereo), allowing you to connect other stereo pedals or plug in two instruments at once. The box also offers MIDI connectivity for connecting an external MIDI device. There's also a USB port for exporting or importing loops, so you can further edit your recordings in your DAW or download external loops from famous guitarists and jam with them. Four two-position switches on the rear panel provide additional setup options, such as REC/PLAY/OVERDUB order when controlling footswitches, or a choice between two types of bypass mode when the looper is idle (True/Buffered Bypass). All electronics of the device are housed in a robust metal chassis. A 9V adapter and USB cable are included.
