Taylor Custom GO, Mahogany/Sitka, Custom #1

Taylor Custom GO, Mahogany/Sitka, Custom #1 is an electroacoustic guitar from the top of the line Taylor Custom series. This is the Grand Orchestra model, the largest design in the Taylor acoustic guitar range.

The Sitka spruce soundboard features a glossy lacquer finish and 00-Vintage Burst finish. The back and sides are made of tropical mahogany. The guitar's sonic qualities are elevated to a higher level by the patented V-Class ribbing, which enhances the guitar's performance in three aspects - increasing the instrument's volume, extending sustain and improving intonation.

An ebony fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck. Stable tuning is ensured by attaching the strings through the Black TusQ zero fret in Gotoh 510 Antique Gold mechanics with black pegs and through the Micarta saddle fret in the ebony fingerboard. The guitar's luxurious workmanship is accentuated by the body's figured maple binding and decorative elements (rosette, position markers on the fingerboard, inlay on the headstock) in maple (900 Series).

The guitar is equipped with the company's high-quality Expression System 2 electronics and built-in Taylorsense monitoring system, which will alert you in the event of a problem (humidity, temperature, battery level) via the Taylor Guitars App (iOS) on your phone. The Taylor Expression System 2 uses three specially designed independent piezo pickups located behind the fingerboard. Unlike conventional pickups, they don't sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the fingerboard. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
