Taylor Custom C24ce B4017

The Custom GA C24ce B4017 is an electroacoustic guitar from Taylor's top-of-the-line Custom line. This is the Grand Auditorium model, Taylor's original design introduced to the public in 1994, combining the qualities of Dreadnought and Grand Orchestra guitars.

The body of the guitar is made of exclusive figured Hawaiian koa of AA quality. The wood grain is enhanced by a high gloss lacquer finish and Tobacco Shaded Edgeburst stain. The guitar's sonic qualities are elevated to a higher level by patented V-Class ribbing, which enhances the guitar's performance in three aspects - increasing the instrument's volume, extending sustain and improving intonation.

An ebony fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the attachment of strings across the zero fret in gold Taylor mechanisms with ebony pegs inlaid with koa and an ebony fingerboard. The guitar's luxurious workmanship is accentuated by the exotic cocobolo armrest and body binding, decorative Art Deco cocobolo and maple rosette and position markers, red-dotted Australian opal pegs in the headstock and mother-of-pearl logo on the headstock.

The guitar is fitted with the company's high-quality Expression System 2 electronics and built-in Taylorsense monitoring system, which will alert you in the event of a problem (humidity, temperature, battery level) via the Taylor Guitars App (iOS) on your phone. The Taylor Expression System 2 uses three specially designed independent piezo pickups located behind the fingerboard. Unlike conventional pickups, they don't sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the fingerboard. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
