The BT1 acoustic guitar by Taylor is a part of the Baby Taylor line of compact instruments. It is a guitar in 3/4 size of standard Dreadnought models, which will surely please players of smaller build and younger years.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated walnut. The mahogany neck is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with nineteen frets. The stability of tuning is guaranteed by the attachment of strings over the TusQ zero fret in Taylor chrome die-cast mechanisms. The visual impression is enhanced by traditional elements in the form of a simple rosette and Indian rosewood veneer on the headstock, decorated with a printed Taylor logo.
The instrument is supplied in a gig bag.

However, this does not detract from the precision of the workmanship, the quality of the materials used or the perfection of the tone. These smaller-bodied guitars have a surprisingly big sound, making them an ideal choice for travelling musicians or children.
