Taylor 724ce

The Taylor 724ce electroacoustic guitar is part of the higher-end 700 Series, a line of high-end all-mass instruments made in El Cajon, California. Specifically, it is a Grand Auditorium-type electroacoustic guitar, an original Taylor design introduced to the public in 1994 that combines the qualities of Dreadnought and Grand Orchestra guitars. It has a powerful, dynamic, sound balanced across the full range of the frequency spectrum. It represents an ideal choice for players with a wide range of styles who like to switch between playing with a pick and finger technique.

The body of the guitar is made from solid Hawaiian koa. The distinctive wood grain is enhanced by a high gloss lacquer finish. The patented V-Class ribbing enhances the guitar's performance in three aspects - increasing the instrument's volume, extending sustain and improving intonation.

Glued to the mahogany neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty frets, the positions are marked by decorative mother-of-pearl markers. The fingerboard's higher positions are facilitated by a lower body cutout (Venetian). The strings are anchored in polished bronze mechanicals and an ebony fingerboard. The luxurious workmanship is accentuated by a rosewood fretboard, a rosette composed of rosewood and mother-of-pearl (paua) rings and a stained maple pickguard.

The sound pickup is handled by the Taylor Expression System 2. This is a completely unique pickup method that takes the possibilities of realistic sound reproduction to unprecedented dimensions. Three specially designed independent piezoelectric pickups located behind the fingerboard are used for pickups. Unlike conventional pickups, they do not sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the grasshopper seat. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
