The Taylor 324ce is an electro-acoustic guitar from the 300 series of the American Taylor brand, which represents high-quality all-massive instruments manufactured in El Cajon, California. It is a Grand Auditorium, i.e. a totally versatile instrument suitable for playing with both pick and finger technique.
The body of the guitar is made of solid tropical mahogany. The sound quality of the guitar is elevated to a higher level by the patented V-Class ribbing, which increases the volume of the instrument, extends the sustain and improves intonation.
Glued to the mahogany neck is an ebony fingerboard embellished with decorative position markers. A rounded lower cutout of the body (Venetian) makes it easier to play at the higher positions of the fingerboard. The impressive look of the instrument is accentuated by the Shaded Edge Burst finish on the soundboard, black Taylor tuning machines, black body binding, ebony veneer on the headstock adorned with the company logo in imitation mother-of-pearl and a practical black pickguard.
The guitar is fitted with high-quality company electronics. The Taylor Expression System 2 uses three specially designed independent piezo pickups located behind the fingerboard. Unlike conventional pickups, they do not sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the fingerboard. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
The instrument comes in a luxurious Taylor case.
