The range of popular Grand Auditorium electroacoustic guitars from the 300 Series of the American brand Taylor is extended by Taylor 314ce Studio models. They differ from the standard models by a baked spruce top, rounded body edges and a narrower neck (the width of the zero fret corresponds to 42.8 mm).

The front of the Taylor 314ce Studio is made of heat-treated Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of sapele. The V-Class ribbing improves the guitar's performance in three aspects - increasing the instrument's volume, extending sustain and improving intonation. The lower body cutaway (venetian cutaway) makes it easier to play at higher fretboard positions.

An ebony fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the fitting of the strings in the company's nickel mechanics and ebony bridge. The nice workmanship is emphasized by traditional elements in the form of a black rosette composed of three rings, a peripheral body binding, position markers on the fingerboard made of imitation mother-of-pearl and a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell.

The guitar is equipped with high-quality company electronics. The Taylor Expression System 2 uses three specially designed and individually calibrated piezo pickups located behind the fingerboard. Unlike conventional pickups, they do not sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the fingerboard. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
