The Taylor 312ce V-Class is an electro-acoustic guitar with a more compact Grand Concert body that will please guitarists who prefer to play with finger technique or who like to put the pick away from time to time.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made of solid sapele. This combination gives the guitar a balanced balance of warmth and punch. The sonic qualities of the instrument are further enhanced by the patented V-Class ribbing, which increases the volume of the instrument, extends sustain and improves intonation.
Glued to the mahogany neck is an ebony fingerboard embellished with decorative position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl. A rounded lower body cutout (Venetian) facilitates the touch on the higher positions of the fingerboard. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the company's nickel tuning machines, black body and fingerboard binding, ebony veneer on the headstock decorated with the company's imitation mother-of-pearl logo and a practical black pickguard.
The guitar is equipped with high-quality company electronics. The Taylor Expression System 2 uses three specially designed independent piezo pickups located behind the fingerboard. Unlike conventional pickups, they do not sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the fingerboard. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
The instrument comes in a deluxe Taylor case.
