New Electro-Acoustic Guitar / HN279441
British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs.
The Tanglewood Winterleaf TW4CEBLB is an electro-acoustic guitar of the "Super Folk" type, i.e. an instrument with a narrower and shallower body than the Dreadnought. The body of the guitar is made of mahogany - solid mahogany front, laminated mahogany back and sides. A maple fingerboard with twenty-one frets is glued to a nato neck, referred to as "Eastern Mahogany". A convenient lower body cutout makes it easy to play at the higher positions of the fingerboard.
Sound reinforcement options include the company's TW Premium Plus preamp with four-band EQ, Phase function and built-in tuner. The strings are held in Grover chrome die-cast mechanics and a composite headstock via NuBone zero and saddle frets. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the maple body binding, abalone rosette, center stripe on the back plate, mother-of-pearl position dots and Barossa Red Gloss finish.
