New Electro-Acoustic Guitar / HN273206
British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs.
The Tanglewood Winterleaf TW4CEBS is an electro-acoustic guitar of the "Super Folk" type, i.e. an instrument with a narrower and shallower body than the Dreadnought. The body of the guitar is made of mahogany - solid mahogany front, laminated mahogany back and sides. The neck made of nato wood, referred to as "Eastern Mahogany", is glued to a fingerboard made of modern composite material fitted with twenty frets. A practical lower body cutout makes it easier to play at the higher positions of the fingerboard.
Sound reinforcement options include the company's TW Premium Plus preamp with four-band EQ, Phase function and built-in tuner. Strings are held in chrome die-cast mechanics and a composite headstock via NuBone zero and saddle frets. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the maple body binding, maple rosette, center stripe on the back plate, mother-of-pearl position dots and Black Shadow Gloss finish.
