New Electro-Acoustic Guitar / HN273205
British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs.
The Tanglewood TP5SE from the Premier Series is an electro-acoustic guitar with a classic Western Dreadnought body. The front of the guitar is made from a select piece of North American Engelmann spruce, which is complemented by laminated mahogany on the back and sides. A purpleheart fingerboard with 20 frets is glued to the also mahogany neck. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by mother-of-pearl position dots (MOP) and a distinctive mother-of-pearl inlay on the twelfth fret.
The strings are held in place by die-cast tuning machines and a purpleheart headstock via the NuBone zero and saddle frets. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the double-sided body binding and the Herringbone rosette and top tab.
Sound reinforcement is provided by a Fishman Presys active preamp with three-band EQ and integrated tuner.
