The Delta King 10 all-amp guitar combo offers the authentic sound of American Supro guitar combos from the 1950s powered by 6V6 end tubes.
This is a 5 watt guitar combo, provided by a 12AX7 tube in the preamp, a 6V6 in the tail amp, and a 10-inch custom DK10 speaker modeled to capture the magical feel of the field-coil speakers widely used in the early days of the electric era. The character of the sound can be adjusted via a two-band EQ and Volume and Master potentiometers, complemented by two switches - a FET transistor-driven Boost function and Pigtronix FAT Overdrive mode, where the guitar sound takes on a thicker rock foundation. A touch of much-needed sonic spice is added by the built-in spring reverb.
The rear panel offers a footswitch input (controlling the boost and overdrive functions, footswitch not included) and a line output, allowing you to use the Delta King 10 as a DI preamp or overdrive before your next machine.
The build quality is accentuated by the stylish art deco retro design of the combo, with a poplar cabinet covered in black tolex and tweed and a black front sound grille.
The American brand Supro was at the very beginning of rock & roll. The brand's first period dates between 1935 and 1968, when many artists played Supro instruments and they enjoyed a certain popularity even after production ceased (among the bands and artists, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and David Bowie). Recently, there has been a resurgence of the brand, with stylish vintage guitar designs being revived.
