Suhr Classic S RFM Swamp Olympic White

In a relatively short period of time, Suhr electric guitars have gained a considerable reputation among top instrumentalists and all musicians with the highest demands for quality workmanship and sound.

The Classic S RFM, RFM, Swamp, Olympic White is an electric guitar in the traditional ST shape. It features an ergonomically shaped two-piece swamp ash body decorated with a gloss lacquer finish and Olympic White color scheme. The baked flamed maple neck has a "60s C Vintage Standard" (.810"-.930") profile and a semi-matte satin finish. Twenty-two Medium stainless steel frets divide the fingerboard surface. The compound radius of the fingerboard (9-12 inches) ensures great playability and matchmaking across the entire fingerboard area.

The combination of a Suhr SSV humbucker and two Suhr V60LP single-coil pickups with Alnico V Special magnets gives the guitar a superbly clear sound with a modern Strat fretboard "made by Suhr" - plus, thanks to SSCII technology, completely free of the characteristic annoying single-coil noise. Standard sound adjustments include a volume knob, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch.

Tuning stability is guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via the bone zero fret in the company's locking tuning machines and in the Gotoh 510 tremolo. The guitar is supplied in a case.

John Suhr has over 35 years of musical instrument manufacturing experience under his belt, during which time he has made a deep mark on the musical community with top-of-the-line "Pensa-Suhr" (as guitar builder) guitar and bass models that have been played by Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Lou Reed and many others in the 1980s, or as a Senior Master Builder in the Fender Custom Shop in the 1990s. However, John didn't have complete control over the entire manufacturing process, so in 1997 he decided to start his own Suhr brand. So you can be assured of the highest possible standards of quality when it comes to Suhr guitars, basses, instruments or pedal effects.
