In a relatively short period of time, Suhr electric guitars have gained a considerable reputation among top instrumentalists and all musicians with the highest demands for quality workmanship and sound.
The single-cut (T) model Suhr Alt T is a guitar that will resonate with your rebel soul. It features a chambered alder body with F hole and Seafoam Green finish. Glued to the maple neck is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium (.055 "x.090") stainless steel frets. The 60's C Vintage Medium maple neck profile and compound fingerboard radius (9-12 inches) contribute to the instrument's great playing characteristics.
The sound of the guitar is provided by two Suhr SSV company humbuckers with Alnico 5 Special magnets and nickel caps. Standard sound adjustments include a volume knob, tone control and three-position pickup switch. Tuning stability, great sustain and quick string changes are guaranteed by the TusQ zero fret string attachment in the company's 18:1 ratio locking gears and Chopped Classic T tailpiece.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
John Suhr has over 35 years of musical instrument building experience under his belt, during which time he has made a deep mark on the musical community with top-of-the-line "Pensa-Suhr" (as guitar builder) guitars and basses that have been played by Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Lou Reed and many others in the 1980s, or as a Senior Master Builder in the Fender Custom Shop in the 1990s. However, John didn't have complete control over the entire manufacturing process, so in 1997 he decided to start his own Suhr brand. So you can be assured of the highest possible standards of quality when it comes to Suhr guitars, basses, instruments or pedal effects. Regular Suhr clients include Peter Frampton, Michael Landau, Scott Henderson and Doug Aldrich.
