Strymon Deco V2

Strymon V2 guitar effects are new and improved versions of popular pedal effects (Strymon Blue Sky, Flint, El Capistan, Deco, DIG and Lex). All Strymon V2 effects offer MIDI compatibility and MIDI control, including MIDI clock sync and access to 300 presets via MIDI, USB-C for MIDI-over-USB and firmware updates, TRS full stereo inputs with mono/stereo input switch, new Strymon Class A JFET preamp, as well as a powerful new 520MHz ARM processor.

The Strymon Deco V2 brings modern guitarists the ability to process their sound similar to the days of tape recording and creative sound engineers coming up with novel tape effects. The Tape Saturation section on the left side provides everything from subtle saturation to typical tape compression distortion. This is actually a very transparent overdrive, with a choice between the response of two-track reel-to-reel tape machines and high-end cassette tape recorders.

The right side is dedicated to tape doubletracking effects. Use the Lag Time control to adjust the tape delay speed (tape echo, slapback, tape chorus, tape flange). The Wobble control is used to add variation and brings a certain erraticism to the signal that was typical of tape recorders. The sound can be further edited using the Type switch, which offers different types of inter-phasing of the virtual tapes. Secondary function controls give access to additional features (Auto-Flange, Wide Stereo, Doubletracker Boost/Cut, Low Trim Live Edit).

The Expression Pedal input allows you to connect an external TRS expression pedal, MiniSwitch/MultiSwitch Plus switches or TRS MIDI connections. All electronics are housed in a durable yet lightweight aluminum chassis. The Strymon Deco V2 offers a choice between true bypass and buffered bypass circuitry. Use the included 9V adapter for power supply.
