STeinberg UR12B
The Steinberg UR12B USB is one of the most popular two-channel sound cards on the market. It has won the hearts of customers especially with its intuitive controls and flexible use, you can connect really anything that produces an audio signal to it. The output signal is in 24bit/192kHz quality, the microphone channel features a built-in premium D-PRE microphone preamplifier for crystal clear, bright and powerful sound.
On the front panel you'll find a Neutrik XLR microphone jack with the aforementioned preamp and phantom power, while the second channel offers a high-impedance 6.3 mm jack for guitars, keyboards and other devices. There is a separate GAIN control and peak indicator for each channel. On the right, you'll find the output volume control and headphone output. The "Direct Monitor" button switches the input signal directly to the output without any latency.
The rear panel offers analog RCA outputs for connecting to speakers or other equipment, a USB output for connecting to a PC, and one mini USB port for an optional USB power adapter. You'll also find a phantom power switch for the microphone input.
Each UR12B package includes a copy of Cubase AI, and when you purchase the sound card you can download software that includes tools for recording, mixing and editing audio.
