Stuart Spector began his career as an electric bass guitar builder in Brooklyn in 1976. After partnering with Ned Steinberg, the Spector NS-1 bass was introduced in 1977 and gave a facelift to modern basses with its novel design, including a comfortable rounded body. The following model, the NS-2, had already gained the attention of world-renowned professionals and in the years that followed, Spector basses quickly became a must-have for every modern player across all genres.

The NS Dimension series is based on the original NS model, which remains as relevant and popular as ever after nearly forty years, but with modern features such as variable menorahs and Fishman pickups and electronics.

The extremely comfortable body is made of swamp ash and decorated with poplar roots. This makes the body lightweight and provides great resonance. The comfortable neck glued together from five layers of maple and Wenge wood offers not only extra strength, but also a stylish design. The wenge fingerboard is then fitted with 24 frets, luminescent position markers and a graphite fretboard. The instrument has a very long sustain and a very clear sound full of higher harmonic information thanks to the through neck. You can look forward to excellent flugelhorns, and if you're a slap lover, there's nothing to worry about with this bass. In addition, thanks to the variable gauge (34"-37"), the neck is also very ergonomic and provides balanced tension on the individual strings.

The sound is picked up by a pair of top-of-the-line Fishman Fluence pickups, which, in conjunction with the Fishman Fluence active circuit, give you an extra-wide sound palette that you can handle in any musical genre. In addition to traditional volume control, pickup balance and treble or bass equalization, Fishman electronics also feature a three-position switch that lets you switch between three different pickup modes - passive, active and single coil.

Each string is anchored in an individual brass bridge, ensuring great vibration transfer to the body. Stable tuning is then taken care of by the company's die-cast tuning machines in a black finish.
