The UWP-D series consists of a trio of wireless systems featuring the URX-P40 receiver and transmitter with microphone. Both devices always include a clear OLED display and an intuitive control panel for quick audio setup and switching of individual frequencies or channels. The system is very compact, packing easily into a backpack or hand luggage. Power is then supplied via a rechargeable integrated battery (rechargeable via USB port) or a pair of AA batteries. The UWP-D series is fully compatible with other Sony wireless systems such as the UWP/WL-800.

The system consists of the URX-P40 receiver, UTX-B40 bodypack transmitter, ECM-V1BMP lavalier microphone with spherical directional characteristic, and small accessories for attaching the receiver to your camera or camcorder. In addition to the audio output to the recording device, the URX-P40 includes a headphone output for close-up monitoring. You can purchase the SMAD-P5 Multi Interface Adapter to take your audio recording up a level.
