Sigma SOMR-45 is a full-massive acoustic guitar type 000, which with its quality of workmanship and playing and sound characteristics can certainly appeal to professional guitarists with high demands. The smaller size of the "triple strings" (compared to Dreadnought guitars) guarantees good playing characteristics and comfort even for players of smaller stature or build.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, the back and sides of solid Indian rosewood. The combination of these woods guarantees a clear sound with warm bass and great dynamic response. An ebony fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck, which is attached to the body with a Dovetail Neck Joint at the 14th fret as standard.
The strings are anchored by Grover open-coil mechanics in gold finish with Butterbean pegs. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle ensure ideal vibration transmission of the strings. The fine workmanship is accentuated by decorative elements in the form of a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell, rosettes, distinctive mother-of-pearl position markers on the fingerboard, peripheral body binding complemented by a decorative inlay, backplate decoration and the company logo on the headstock.
The guitar comes in a handy soft case.
