Sigma S000R-42S is a full-massive acoustic guitar type 000 from the higher series of Custom Guitars, which with its workmanship, premium materials and playing characteristics will certainly appeal to the truly demanding musicians. The smaller size of the "triple strings" (compared to Dreadnought guitars) guarantees good playing characteristics and comfort even for players of smaller stature or build.
The front of the guitar is made of solid AA quality Adirondack spruce, the back and sides are made of solid Indian rosewood. The combination of these woods guarantees a clear sound with warm bass and great dynamic response. An ebony fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck, attached to the body with a Dovetail Neck Joint at the 12th fret. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by decorative mother-of-pearl position markers.
The strings are mounted in open Grover mechanisms in gold finish with Butterbean pegs and an ebony fingerboard. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle ensure ideal vibration transfer of the strings. The beautiful workmanship is accentuated by the burnished gloss finish of the body, the peripheral body trim complete with decorative tabs, the inlay of the fingerboard, the backplate decoration and the company logo on the headstock.
The guitar comes in a handy soft case.
