The Sigma S000R-42 is a full-massive acoustic guitar type 000 from the higher series Custom Guitars, which with its workmanship, premium materials and playing characteristics will certainly appeal to even the most demanding musicians. The smaller size of the "triple strings" (compared to Dreadnought guitars) guarantees good playing characteristics and comfort even for players of smaller stature or build.
The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce of AA quality, the back and sides are made of solid Indian rosewood. The combination of these woods guarantees a clear sound with warm bass and great dynamic response. An ebony fingerboard is glued to the mahogany neck, which is attached to the body with a Dovetail Neck Joint at the 14th fret as standard. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by decorative mother-of-pearl position markers.
The strings are mounted in Grover's signature gold open-coil mechanics with Butterbean pegs and an ebony fingerboard. The zero fret and compensated bone saddle ensure ideal vibration transfer of the strings. The luxurious craftsmanship is accentuated by the burnished gloss finish of the body, double-sided perimeter body binding complemented by mother-of-pearl top trim, backplate decoration, mother-of-pearl rosette and rich mother-of-pearl headstock decoration.
The guitar comes in a soft case.
