Sigma acoustic guitars offer the traditional look and sound of the famous American brand, but at a much more affordable price. If you're looking for a traditional acoustic instrument, you won't want to miss out on these guitars.
The GMC-STE in black is conceptually based on the Jumbo body shape, but the body of this model is slightly smaller. The result is a comfortable Grand Orchestra-type body with a cutout that is less prone to feedback. The front of the instrument is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the sides and back are layered mahogany. The proven combination of woods is complemented by a mahogany neck with a micarta composite fingerboard. The zero fret, like the compensated saddle, is made of real bone, which guarantees excellent pitch transfer and tone strength. Stable tuning is ensured by cast mechanics in chrome finish. The overall sound of this instrument is clear, distinctive and balanced.
The guitar is equipped with a piezo pickup and a Fishman preamplifier with integrated tuner. The preamp is equipped with a two-band equalizer for additional sound adjustment and a Phase button for phase reversal.
